Has anyone had an airbrush spray tan?

There was an ad in the paper for Tropical Mist Airbrush tanning 3 for $35 so I thought about trying it. I do not want to come out orange though because we have some friends coming down tom. and are going out so I dont want to look terrible lol. Have you had the person spray you with the tan? I think that would be embarrassing but I dunno what are your experiences with it?Has anyone had an airbrush spray tan?
I get them all the time and I can tell you straight up that they don't pay any attention to what your body looks like, they are used to seeing all different kinds of people and its their job! So don't think it would be embarrassing lol its not!





You need to make sure you shave and exfoliate before you go, and you can't wear any makeup, deoderant, or perfume (this might counteract with the tan). Make sure you pay special attention to exfoliating around your elbows and knees.





When you get there you will be given usually a disposable g-string (or you can wear your own underwear) and they will make you stand with your legs slightly apart and arms outstretched and spray it onto you. They will direct you if you need to move. They will then usually dry you down with a hairdryer or something similar. The whole process takes about 15 mins. Try not to wear a bra or tight fitting clothing after it to ensure it doesnt rub off.


You need about 6-8 hours for the tan to develop completely (don't have a shower in this time).


If you moisturise your skin every day it should last about a week or a week and a half. It looks very natural and don't worry about being a little bit tanned before you go, it really doesn't matter. I had an event to go to last winter and I was sooooo pasty white but it turned out beautiful and natural looking as always.





Also, dont be put off the price and think that more expensive must mean more quality. It doesn't, sometimes they just have great deals! You should take advantage of it.

well, you could just get some airbrush spray tanning yourself. There is these little orange bottles at victorias secret and there is also a good line for tanning at bath and body works. I would try these before looking into having someone else do it.
My daughter has it done on special occasions,it looks ok if its lightly done and your young


If not it goes into all the lines of your body so doesn't look so good


Dark tans look sooo false.


No your alone while its being done and you leave your knickers on
