1 or two drops of essential oil if desired
Combine the ingredients in a bowl. Scoop some of the scrub onto your hand and massage gently onto your skin for a minute (the scrub will actually tighten onto your skin like a masque). Leave on for 3 to 4 minutes before rinsing.

I use stuff that has Dihydroxyacetone in it...That is the chemical that causes fruit to brown. I'm sure that the are some out there that have crazy chemicals in them, but DHA is naturally occurring in nature and won't hurt.
Forget that it causes cancer....It makes you look old!

Spray tans usually last up to two weeks at the most.

most spray tans last 10 days , top up when it starts to fade dont over do it though. Exfoliate before you spray to stop it going streaky.

Also, it can accentuate any unevenness in the tan, leave streaks on the back of your legs if you towel off improperly, etc. But as long as you use the clear solution, you should be fine. I'm going to the dominican in one month for a wedding and i want to get a spray tan as i am quite pale?
Can anyone tell me how many days prior to the holiday i should have one done. As its for a wedding i want a really good one. Could anyone recommend a good salon around covent garden / oxford st London?

HI hun, if i was you iwould get it done 3 days before you go, will give it time to calm down and look Fab!!
It will look great just be carefull in and out the water, sometimes they streak!! Happend to me once, dint go to that salon again tho, and have been fine ever since

I would go twice, once for a base tan and another for a top up tan. The first one I would go for about 4 days before and the next on the day before. I do mystic tans (spray tan booths) before I go on holiday because I dont tan. Remember to moisturise to maintain your tan for longer.
If you go too early your tan will have disappeared before you go on holiday.
Well, i am not really sure but i am from Dominican Republic and recommend u to bring some very warm cloth bc over there it is very very warm good gl!!! :)
The absolute best is the GlowFusion protein tan -- no streaks, no color all over the place, no orangey complexion, no mess. Spray on and wait. You will have a very natural tan that lasts for two weeks -- Tan Towels are a less expensive option of the same idea. check them out!!

I'm just curious what would allow for optimum results aside form showering, shaving %26amp; exfoliating. What should I expect when going to get spray tanned as far as how it works? i want to get a st tropez tan in a salon.
how do they apply it?
do they make you strip right down for a full body or like keep ur underwear on??

I would recomend a mystic tan with is a temorally spray tan. You go in a room and completly strip down. You put this lotion in the booth on your nails so they dont turn orange. Put all of your hair in a cap but make sure the cap is really close next to the hairline so your forehead isnt half and half. Then press a button on the outside of the booth and it cleans it then you go inside and stand on this line and press a button and close your eyes spread your legs and put your arms up. hold your breath and keep your mouth closed. It goes up and down a few times then turn around and repeat...when its done dab your whole body with a towel so theres no streaks and your done
