i am 13 and i want a spray tan.. not dark or anything. just a small one... cuz i have for some reason gotten really pale.
but im debating whether or not to get one. i want it to look natural. what do u say?
and no, im not some 13 year old slut. i simply want to get a tan :D lol. What is the youngest age you would suggest getting a spray tan??
The way spray tans work are:
The chemicals react with your dead skin cells to produce the change in colour, that is why you often get darker patches on knees, heels and elbows.
The chemicals are pretty safe - some ingredient's in some sunblocks are worse.
The SUN will do way more damage to your skin than a fake tan.
Tanning salons are your best bet, they also will have different shades and will have a pretty good idea of the end result.
It's a bit of a gamble doing it yourself, as it is really hard to get a uniform colour.
As for your age, talk to your Mum, if she is OK with it, then it really isn't anybody else's concern. What is the youngest age you would suggest getting a spray tan??
I think a light one would be ok. If you get a spray tan from a salon you dont look orange. my bf uses on at her wedding an she looked natural and beautiful. But I think you have to have your parents permission for spray tans also. So talk to your mom if she says ok then you arent too young.
your better off having a few sessions in a tanning bed, cause seriously those spray on tans are so obviously fake you look orange.
I would suggest that 13 is too old, by that age you probably are all wrinkley anyways that a tan will not cover up anything. Plus with the chain smoking that most 13 year olds are doing these days, you may not have the stamina to stand long enough to be hosed down. I suggest remaining pale and pasty.
It's usually obvious when a spray tan is a spray tan.
I know everybody says sun tanning is bad, but being outside is the best way to get a tan. Of course, it's okay to be pale in winter.
You could always use the self-tanner that causes your skin to produce melanin so it will look natural.
I don't suggest anyone to get a spray tan. It doesn't look natural and isn't the best for your skin. I think you're a bit too young, wait 2 more years.

I went in a self tan spray booth and my hands and feet are orange?
Is there a way to get it off?I went in a self tan spray booth and my hands and feet are orange?
sometimes scrubing alcohol with those little cotton puffs, or with tooth brush worksI went in a self tan spray booth and my hands and feet are orange?
It's because hands and feet have little areas of dry skin that ';catch'; the spray tan (cuticles, nails, etc) and look orange. Next time, exfoliate those areas extra extra and it shouldn't do it. To fix it right now, trying washing and exfoliate roughly and it should help. I hear nail polish remover helps too, but it might just be an myth.
this is the deal, it will just wear away, lemon does not work, nothing really does. next time, put Vaseline on your hands and nails and on the bottoms of your feet and heels, where ever you do not want to be orange. exfoliate everywhere before you go, hands and feet as well. ask for the light spray and not the dark. believe me you will get the hang of it, it just takes time.
ahaha
my sister does that all the time!!
:D
but thats okay
just take a bath and soak and scrub alot
but dont irritate your skin
that can just make you look ugly
P.S.-next time you spray tan get a real base tan first.
Use a loofah brush its a deep deep exfoliant method. :) hope that helps.
1/4 cup of lemon juice, 1/2 cup salt, and a loofah sponge. Scrub Scrub!
i'd consider yourself lucky.
My sister's whole body was orange.
lemon and a scrub brush.

Morbid question about spray tan on a dead body?
I'm trying to figure out what color, exactly, a person that has died after getting a spray tan would look like. They're obviously brownish after being tanned and that's been dyed in to the skin, but their skin would turn pale after a few hours... so would they just be pale? Or would they stay brownish? Would they change to a sickly shade of gray?
Any opinions would be great! Thanks!Morbid question about spray tan on a dead body?
Hmmm interesting question haha
My guess is that since the tans like kinda stained on the persons body would stay somewhat tan, but not nearly as tan as before because the skin under the tan would be so so pale.
Plus dead bodys kinda get a grayish tint to them so it would probably be gross looking clearly. That's just a guess tho cus lucky for me I've never seen a freshly spray tanned corpse lol
Peace :)Morbid question about spray tan on a dead body?
Interesting! A tinted tanning solution should keep the body looking tan, unless for some reason there's a lot of moisture, which would cause it to break down. Once I got food poisoning, and ended up hugging my toilet all night - even though I felt green from head to toe, I looked relatively healthy because I had a faux tan on. I think the same would go for a dead body!

Which is better tanning beds or spray tan?
i would suggest spray tanning. now a lot of people say ''it makes you look fake, or streaky, or orangey'' but as long as you get if from a pro than it looks completely real and golden. i get them all the time. also spray tanning has evolved in the past years so its not how it used to be.
now dont get me wrong. tanning beds are cool but they cause serious skin damage and keep doing it and youll turn into a prune. and you also come out like a grayish tan so ot looks fake because you look mexican. lmao
if you choose spray tanning here are some tips:
-dont where tight clothes to your session.
-dont put your clothes on for about 20 minutes after youve been sprayed.
-DO NOT put on makeup right after you tan.wait until you take a shower in 8 hours or more. [this will make you blotchy. ive done it =[ ]
-when taking a shower [the 1st time after your session] dont scrub, jus rinse off.
-moisturize! it will make your tan last longer [it last about 10 days]
-listen to the person doing your tan. they know what their doing.Which is better tanning beds or spray tan?
Bronzer! (Spray Tan). Tanning beds, from all the UV rays it can cause skin cancer. Of course most people think ';Oh it won't happen to me!!';. Well it's more common then you think. And it really stinks when it happens, so I wouldn't even take the risk. Bronzer is good because you just put it on and go. Don't over do it though.Which is better tanning beds or spray tan?
Spray tan because it doesn't effect the health of your skin. I have had one before for my formal, it didn't look orange one bit. Remember to get a green based spray, other wise it will look orange. Tanning beds will give you wrinkles, and can increase the chances of cancer.
Tanning bed tanning gives more even results, but damages your skin in the long run NO MATTER what the salon tells you.
Spray tanning always streaks (especially if you are very active and tend to sweat a lot). But spraying doesn't damage your skin..... so nothing is perfect I guess
Tanning beds aren't safe. They damage your skin and cause cancer. Spray tans are safer, and from what I've heard, some of them are vastly improved over the old, orange-tinted spray tans.
neither. tanning beds ruin your skin, spray tans make u look fake.

How do you get spray on tan off the plams of your hands?
I just recently got a spray on tan, everything tunred out fine except for the palms of my hands and my feet. They are horrible looking, ive been exfoliating, using rubbing alcohol, lemon juice, salt, everything i could think of. is there anything you can do to get it off?!?! i have an event to go to tonight! How do you get spray on tan off the plams of your hands?
they are not suppost to spray it on ur hands because of that but it should come off when you take a shower. I got one for my graduation and they didn't spray it on my hands or feet and when i took a shower it all blended together nicely. You might wanna ask the people that did it about that, i'm not sure. Good Luck! How do you get spray on tan off the plams of your hands?
Have you tried peroxide? That may help. The exfoliating should help some at least.
a bit of bleach will work, but as far as other remedies, there isn't anything I know of...
I would try a little bleach dilute it with water though! Pure bleach is way to harsh for the skin!
Try a bit of bleach
sorry to say but...... you cant!!
mix tide w/ water and it will come off
