I own a tanning shop.
I'd say try St Tropez or Fake Bake first, you can buy it from Boots and any good tanning salon.
DON'T buy your own at home spray kit. They really are use for professionals only, they supply you with the least powerful systems they have and the worst quality tan.Where can I buy spray tan solution on the high street and which is the best in your opinion?
I second what Danielle said. Home spray kits are a waste of time. Personally I always have a mobile spray tanner visit me at home, so I can't comment on self tanners.
See http://www.tropical-sunrise.com (They have a great video as well!)Where can I buy spray tan solution on the high street and which is the best in your opinion?
you can buy st tropez on ebay, usually free delivery and its posted next day delivery, i like the colour of st tropez and have used it for years. x

Go to your local high street chemist, they will advise you. Or, go to your local tanning salon, they should also have a range of products.
St Tropez is usually a foam which you manualy apply %26amp; can be streaky if not applied correctly.
Spray tan like the pros use requires a spray gun %26amp; compressor, have a look in home bargains (if there is one near you) they have the Babyliss or Rio Pro for less than 拢15, you can feed this any solution you like.
Cheapest place for spray tan is eBay.
Hope that helps.

What's the difference between a spray tan and a regular tan?
spray tan only lasts a few days and sometimes looks orangeWhat's the difference between a spray tan and a regular tan?
well spray you dont get it from the sun so better for you as far as uva and uvb and skin cancer on the other hand a regular tan you are at risk for the dangers of the uva and uvb raysWhat's the difference between a spray tan and a regular tan?
What you're spraying is chemicals that are dying the color of your skin. It would be very hard to get an even tan that way as there are spots you can't reach.
A regular tan would be better provided you don't stay out long the first time and gradually build up your tolerance for it, otherwise, you'll burn and peel.
spray tan-if you need quick, immediate results. I suggest the mystic tan(they have a website), it sprays you with a mixture of bronzers and water in less than 60 seconds, you towel off and go home and wait till your tan develops. I also suggest to check your moisturizers you use at home and MAKE SURE THEY DO NOT HAVE mineral oil or petrolatum in them b/c this clogs your pores and then you can become streaky. if you do use something with either of those stop using the moisturizer for a few days. if you have been slacking a need a quick tan to look tan(i.e. prom, wedding) then this is it, I do suggest if you do have time to test run it before a big event just to make sure you like it and to get the fine tunning done beforehand. this will not protect you from uv light.
Regular tan-tanning beds(have uva and uvb rays) and sun(has uva, uvb, and uvc rays). the tanning bed helps get you a tan before a big vacation in the sun to prevent you from having a horrible burn. you should always wear goggles and should use tanning lotion to help replenish vitamins, and moisture lost from tanning. just don't over do it and you are safer than just going out in the sun and burning while on vacation or so on. hope this helps!

How to get tan fast with out spray on tans or lotions?
I have very pale skin and it is hard for me to get tan. i get burned almost every time i go out.How to get tan fast with out spray on tans or lotions?
Then you need those spray tans or lotions. Going out and getting burned will leave you with a temporary tan, and permanent damage.
Get tan the smart way, from a bottle!
*500,000 people in this country each year are diagnosed with skin cancer.
*People who sunburn easily are more likely to develop skin cancer. If you have blue eyes, blonde hair, red hair or get freckles in the sun, you are at greater risk and need to take more precautions when going into the sun.
*The UVB and UVA radiation from sun lamps and other tanning devices are just as dangerous as the sun.
*http://www.jergens.com/Our_Collection/Pr鈥?/a> %26lt;--- Great product, I really suggest it. I'm also pale and it works for me! No streaks what so ever. How to get tan fast with out spray on tans or lotions?
a tanning bed is really your only option if you dont want to you any sprays or lotions. once you get a good base tan, some places have a super strong tanning bed. its like $20 each time. i know someone that does it just once a week, and stays super tan all the time.
there is no other option available to you unless you want skin cancer.
When your skin has lost its summer glow and you're not a fan of sunless tanning, here's something to try. Play up the pale by mimicking the stark contrasts seen in nature during wintry months. Apply a fresh foundation that matches your current skin tone. Dust it with a light translucent powder. Brush soft pink blush on the top of your cheekbones and eyelids. Now the contrast-- sweep several coats of dark mascara (navy, black, or eggplant) on you upper lashes and treat your lips to deep raspberry lip-gloss.
i don't know if you'll like this. Just mix ground coffee with warm water and put it on your face for about half an hour. wash off. it may not last long though. i don't know if it works or not. I read it in this beauty book
you should use a lotion everytime you do tan in a tanning bed, but if you want to get a really cute dark i would go for the spray ta. i tan at desert sun mostly evryday and i went for a spray the other day and it made my tan really golden and pretty.

Would fake tanner spray or lotions ruin a real tan?
I went to the beach today %26amp; got a nice tan, but i need to be really tan by sunday. and its suppose to rain the next few days. If I put a fake tanner on, would my real tan leave? Thanks in advanceeee.Would fake tanner spray or lotions ruin a real tan?
Use Loreal Gele self tanner, I go to tanning beds all the time, but when I want to look suuuper tan for something this is what I use, its the only one I found with perfect color. People actually thought I went on vacation when I used it. And to answer your question, no it wont ruin a real tan. The self tanner will fade within a week. People that say its streaky and such are either using the wrong product, or most likely dont know how to apply it correctly! If you do get this Loreal Gele stuff rub it in good! Then dry yourself with a hairdryer on warm or hot and it will show quicker and it looks very nice!Would fake tanner spray or lotions ruin a real tan?
DO NOT DO IT! i did it in the summer and my tan was beautiful and i was afraid it would go away and it made it streaky and gross . no matter what you do it wont be perfect like a tanning bed or outside. i say you live with being a bit pale for a while and than tan it up when its sunny !
hope i helped!
The fake tan spray and lotions do get a weird look to them if you have a tan or are going to be in the sun. Not a first but after a week.
Dont do it. Stay away from that crap.
don't do it
Your real tan will fade if you stay out of the sun...moisturize your skin well to prolong it...

What is the youngest age you would suggest getting a spray tan??
i am 13 and i want a spray tan.. not dark or anything. just a small one... cuz i have for some reason gotten really pale.
but im debating whether or not to get one. i want it to look natural. what do u say?
and no, im not some 13 year old slut. i simply want to get a tan :D lol. What is the youngest age you would suggest getting a spray tan??
The way spray tans work are:
The chemicals react with your dead skin cells to produce the change in colour, that is why you often get darker patches on knees, heels and elbows.
The chemicals are pretty safe - some ingredient's in some sunblocks are worse.
The SUN will do way more damage to your skin than a fake tan.
Tanning salons are your best bet, they also will have different shades and will have a pretty good idea of the end result.
It's a bit of a gamble doing it yourself, as it is really hard to get a uniform colour.
As for your age, talk to your Mum, if she is OK with it, then it really isn't anybody else's concern. What is the youngest age you would suggest getting a spray tan??
I think a light one would be ok. If you get a spray tan from a salon you dont look orange. my bf uses on at her wedding an she looked natural and beautiful. But I think you have to have your parents permission for spray tans also. So talk to your mom if she says ok then you arent too young.
your better off having a few sessions in a tanning bed, cause seriously those spray on tans are so obviously fake you look orange.
I would suggest that 13 is too old, by that age you probably are all wrinkley anyways that a tan will not cover up anything. Plus with the chain smoking that most 13 year olds are doing these days, you may not have the stamina to stand long enough to be hosed down. I suggest remaining pale and pasty.
It's usually obvious when a spray tan is a spray tan.
I know everybody says sun tanning is bad, but being outside is the best way to get a tan. Of course, it's okay to be pale in winter.
You could always use the self-tanner that causes your skin to produce melanin so it will look natural.
I don't suggest anyone to get a spray tan. It doesn't look natural and isn't the best for your skin. I think you're a bit too young, wait 2 more years.

I went in a self tan spray booth and my hands and feet are orange?
Is there a way to get it off?I went in a self tan spray booth and my hands and feet are orange?
sometimes scrubing alcohol with those little cotton puffs, or with tooth brush worksI went in a self tan spray booth and my hands and feet are orange?
It's because hands and feet have little areas of dry skin that ';catch'; the spray tan (cuticles, nails, etc) and look orange. Next time, exfoliate those areas extra extra and it shouldn't do it. To fix it right now, trying washing and exfoliate roughly and it should help. I hear nail polish remover helps too, but it might just be an myth.
this is the deal, it will just wear away, lemon does not work, nothing really does. next time, put Vaseline on your hands and nails and on the bottoms of your feet and heels, where ever you do not want to be orange. exfoliate everywhere before you go, hands and feet as well. ask for the light spray and not the dark. believe me you will get the hang of it, it just takes time.
ahaha
my sister does that all the time!!
:D
but thats okay
just take a bath and soak and scrub alot
but dont irritate your skin
that can just make you look ugly
P.S.-next time you spray tan get a real base tan first.
Use a loofah brush its a deep deep exfoliant method. :) hope that helps.
1/4 cup of lemon juice, 1/2 cup salt, and a loofah sponge. Scrub Scrub!
i'd consider yourself lucky.
My sister's whole body was orange.
